The respect life committee works to promote the culture of life in both the parish and the community.  In conjunction with respect life month we have a literature outreach to the parish.  We have members who sidewalk counsel in front of the abortion clinic.  Our members are also active in setting up the Cemetery of the Innocent display in conjunction with the Roe vs. Wade decision to legalize abortion.  We work directly with COPE, which is a local crisis pregnancy center with our time, talent and donations.  An important aspect of our ministry is reaching out to those within our own church who either through lack of knowledge or improper catechesis do not understand the church’s consistent teaching in regard to abortion, euthanasia, living wills, and all other life issues. We are always looking for new people and ideas to promote the gospel of life!
