Mission: Family Promise of Montgomery is a non-profit serving homeless families by partnering with churches to assist families in the area to transition from homelessness to stability and independence through compassionate guidance, shelter and education.

Families in need come to Family Promise after an eviction, a family break up, a home fire, or many different reasons.  The families generally stay for 30 days.  During the day, families go to work and school and/or stay at the Day Center. Churches in Montgomery take turns hosting the families for one week.  Each evening, they return to the church at approximately 5:30 p.m. to eat dinner, have family time, and get a good night sleep.  They leave the host church at about 7:00 a.m. each morning.

Holy Spirit Parish hosts families in July each year.  Volunteers are needed to help set-up, host in the evenings, provide meals, sleepover hosts, and clean-up after our guests leave.
